Trained at Central School of Speech and Drama and Goldsmiths College, London, Glenys has worked in theatre, drama and education since 1976. Specialising in writing plays that reflects her understanding of the lives of people with learning disabilities and their close and distant community.

Glenys is closely associated with two theatre companies, Hijinx Theatre and Theatr Iolo as an actress, devisor of original ensemble plays, director and commissioned playwright.

Also an experienced teacher and educationalist Glenys has worked extensively with young people of all ages and the adult learning disabled community.

Former lecturer in F.E at Barry College, has also worked for The Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama and University of Glamorgan.
